Description:
There is a huge rise in custody battles where one or both parents, aware or not are causing great emotional and mental distress to the minor children involved. In approximately 89% of these cases the Judge is forced to place these children in the sole custody of one parent, giving the other parent very limited and sometimes no access to these children. Unfortunately the parent that is getting this "sole custody", is the "abusing" parent; you see in 90% of these same cases, the children have reported abuse to a parent and that same parent aggressively seeks protection of their children. These cases are staggering and now we are seeing even more of a rise in these cases not only in Texas, but in all of States. I have already invested thousands of my own dollars and thousands of hours in research and gathering statistics regarding these cases. What I am finding now is not only are the parents, organizations, and everyone bad mouthing, judging and finger pointing, but it has made it more and more impossible for the Judges to get to the facts and find the truth. The main thing my research has proven to me, is that either the parent just give up, keep fighting the same way, or just die inside; no matter what the choice is there is still a very huge problem. . . (URL removed) children are left behind, and in a very destructive way. I do not want to focus on the problem anymore, I want all my focus to be on the solution, and with that solution the Judges will receive a more clear picture, but most importantly, the children will get what they need and DESERVE. I know with the appropriate guidance, education, resources and maybe even a gentle "push" this can and will be achieved. I am looking into a grant, but there are still licensing, filings and the list goes on of what has to be done before I can even present that grant. All I am looking for is some help to get to that point. I appreciate any direction, support or advice any one is willing to share.
Thank you,
Becky
