My partners and I are in contract to buy a modernized waste management facility in a country in Latin America. We are looking to raise approximately $2,000,000.00 to enable us to complete the payments necessary to close. The company we are acquiring has 3 primary sources of income: a) receipt and burial of waste from municipalities and private users; b) collection, sorting, bailing and shipping of recyclable material; and c) extraction of methane gas, conversion to energy and sale of the energy. The company had a net profit of approximately $2,000,000.00 in 2009 and figures to earn substantially more in 2011 once the recycling and energy components of the project are more fully developed and operational before the end of 2010. We estimate returns of approximately 75%-100% in 2011 and 125%-175% in 2012.
