Description: All People Cultural Life Center serves the inner city of Portsmouth Virginia as an Outreach Center, helping those in need from providing clothes, food and in the near future shelter. We purchased a building back in 2009 under the name of United Deliverance Christian Center and after much planning and foot work we are now ready to take our agenda and Vision to the forefront. The building is debt free and free of any mortgages as we took the monies raised from fundraising and purchased the building located at 500 Oak Street, Portsmouth, Virginia 23704 for the amount of $20,000. The building is a around 3000 square feet and it has two apartments connected to the building and on the front part is where we old youth classes and life classes for both male and female. We stand in need of $165,000 so that we can get the apartments up and running in tip top shape so that we can use both apartments for temporary housing/shelter for the disenfranchised. Also next to the our building is an open lot which we would love to purchase and turn it into a gymnasium/playground for the neighborhood kids. We are now going forth with a few different classes throughout the week and we change the name so that we would be welcoming and affirming to all cultures and ethnicities. I was up praying and after looking up loans and mortgage companies I came across your site and I am trusting God that we will be able to get the help we need financially so we can also become a 501 c 3 entity. Thank you! Our property with land and building is assessed by the city at around $90,000 with a $22,000 in improvements. Also from this building we have a prayer life line where we touch and agree with people all over the world via conference calling where hundreds of people call in at the same time and we connect them into a group conference prayer call.
