I have developed a lactose-free dairy ice cream for people who avoid eating regular ice cream because of lactose intolerance. There are about 50 million or more people with this problem in the U.S. who either have to suffer with the effects of eating regular ice cream or avoid eating ice cream altogether. Several Whole Foods stores and others have tasted samples and want to sell it in their stores. Right now, there is no other lactose-free dairy ice cream, in delicious flavors like this, on the market. This product has a distinct advantage over other non-dairy frozen desserts made with rice, soy, almonds, or coconut, because dairy tastes creamier and better, and also, contains significant amounts of calcium for healthy nutrition.
