Description: I am one of two females who are looking to open a restaurant in Union City, CA to sell ethnic (soul) food--possibly a meals-to-go type of service. The food that we are seeking to serve and sell is not being sold in Union City at the present. We have found a site that is near public transportation(Bay Area Rapid Transit, major thoroughfares and shopping centers. We have the desire, the know-how, the experience, the confidence and the drive (not to mention potential customers) but are not financially able to start the business at this time. If funding is not available, we would appreciate advice, anyway.
