Description:
Utah Valley Energy, LLC Colorado Project (UVE-CP), headquartered in Orem, UT, is a waste-to-energy power company. Through a patented pyrolysis process, UVE-CP converts, not burns, scrap tires into electric power. With 200 tons of scrap tires per day, UVE-CP generates 15 MW per hour. UVE-CP utilizes or recycles 100% of all scrap tires entering the facility. Revenue streams for this project include but are not limited to electric power, activated carbon, carbon black, recycled scrap steel and government incentives. UVE’s Colorado Project has two phases. Phase I is the acquisition of a specific 130 acre piece of land that includes a scrap tire stockpile, a facility, miscellaneous assets and an existing on-site tire receiving and recycling business. Phase II, which is not covered in this Executive Summary, is the power plant construction and commissioning on the acquired property.
