The Mariah Turbine is a 4 blade turbine which rotates on a vertical axis capturing wind energy from all directions. The Mariah system therefore is capable of generating 4 times more utility grade power at much lower wind speeds (14kph – a gentle breeze) allowing the turbine to be mounted at much lower heights than H.A.W.T. systems (30 feet vs 130 feet).
