Description: Couture goes Corporate, better known, as CgC daily, is an interactive digital magazine dedicated to the bold, savvy and sophisticated businesswoman. CgC Daily is the brainchild of many late night wardrobe debates on business casual. CgC Daily was initially designed to address the difficulties Generation X and the Millennial Generation face with the constantly evolving business dress code. A summer Beta test quickly progressed into a digital magazine dedicated to helping women tread the tricky waters of business attire. We determined this was a site women wanted, needed and would be daily subscribers. Today CgC Daily is more than just fashion advice. Times are changing; more women are entering the workforce and they don’t want to dress like men. Consequently attitudes on dress code are evolving and company cultures are adapting yet there is not a magazine dedicated to the workingwoman. The digital publishing industry is currently in a growth cycle with a moderate market size, a high growth projection and moderate competition. Digital revenue will account for 16% of the total magazine industry revenues by 2017, a huge increase from a meek 2% in 2012. In 2013 revenue reached almost 9% illustrating a climbing market. With digital advertising revenue expected to reach $8.1billion by 2017 it is a prime time for new entrants. Beta soft launch roll out In summer 2013 we ran a 3-month beta test. The beta test resulted in 15,000+ views in 3 months. These results purely rely on word of mouth and the social media following we built. Test Summary CgC Daily’s beta test accumulated the following Social Media statistics: Instagram: 2600 Facebook: 7,425 Twitter: 533 Newsletter Subscribers: 248 Brand Partnerships: 22 YouTube & Pinterest just added Business & Revenue Model CgC Daily is an interactive digital magazine dedicated to the businesswoman delivering the latest in: 1. Fashion 2. Business 3. Health 4. Lifestyle Revenue Model The magazine will have a 3-tier revenue model Target Market Consumer Analysis We have a niche market as our reader is made up of Generation X and Millennial. Meet Amy, Generation X’s target market, and a career driven mom with a 1 year old. She is trying to balance her career and motherhood now that she has returned to work. She has a reputation of being bold, savvy and sophisticated and wants to maintain this persona at work now more than ever. She wants to have it “all” but knows the value of time and how having it “all”, at times, can seem impossible. Her ideal life work balance means not just being able to find her car keys in the morning but having a clean kitchen and avoiding feeling like she lives in constant chaos. Meet Emily, The Millennial target market, Instagram obsessed and in her last year of college striving to be a bold, savvy and sophisticated businesswoman. She is constantly multitasking between her laptop, phone and social life. She will start reading CgC Daily from her college dorm room for her first big interview. She wants to look like she has it all without spending a fortune. Competitive Advantage Our magazine is created for businesswomen by businesswomen. CgC Daily is a first mover when it comes to creating a one-stop site that is devoted strictly to the workingwoman, combining fashion, business, lifestyle and health. The team at CgC Daily has personally faced the trials and tribulations of trying to have it “all”, experiencing first hand how complex the business world can be. The CgC Daily team is able to draw upon personal experiences to create ideas and solutions that are actually plausible. CgC Daily is well positioned in this arena based on the team’s personal and business connections. CgC Daily has the ability to take an idealistic runway outfit and create a look that the average time sensitive; budget conscious businesswoman can pull off.
