Description:
I live in a small town which is home to around 1,233 people. We have a lot of neighboring towns that are exactly like us, small, no entertainment, barely any food choices, and children that need safe, non-toxic entertainment. Growing up, I lost friends ad classmates to drugs and alcohol. When I was a teenager, if you would have asked me why kids are turning to drugs in our town, I would have told you because it's easier to get their hands on that, than get someone to drive them 30 plus miles away to do something they enjoy. I always said, there's nothing here for us. Now as a mother of 5, if you'd ask me why kids are turning to drugs, my answer hasn't changed. Our kids NEED this, my kids NEED this. Please invest in our children, this WILL go far, there is no doubt in my mind that this will be the best thing that ever happened to our town and all the small neighboring towns. Not only is this brining our kids something to do, but I will also be able to offer employment to teenagers and adults having trouble finding employment close to home.
Goal:
$2,000,000
I need to aquire a place large enough in our town to start the first step- arcade. If I can't aquire a building large enough, I will look to build which may become more costly than anticipated. I also want to add a small bowling alley or movie theater.
