My concept will take hotel, restaurant, fuel and leisure locations directly to a users cell phone sorted by Highway and Mile Marker.
We currently have a database of GPS coordinates for every exit from every US Highway. Along with that data, we can identify any business within a radius from those GPS coordinates. This information can then be passed on to a user utilizing a cell phone app.
While in-car navigation systems are becoming more common, they are typically only good for providing point-to-point directions. Many systems have a list of pre-populated locations and can be updated for a fee but many times this information if not current. Our service would contain the most current information available year round.
Revenue would be raised by selling advertising to existing hotel, restaurant and fuel station owners for priority placement in search results.
Additionally, our website will contain features which allow driving travelers the ability to route their trip in advance and download PDF maps of their trip. Within this downloadable could be inserts and/or coupons from advertisers.
Year 1 revenue could exceed $1M with proper market penetration and advertising sales efforts.
