LazerPhaze Entertainment, Inc. (d.b.a. SportZone) is a start-up business that will open a brand new bowling and state-of-the-art entertainment center that accommodates the entire family. A feasibility study completed by William Kratzenberg – the owner of Bowling Services Inc. – determined that there is a desire and market feasibility for an updated, modern, and clean bowling and activities center in the North County San Diego area of Escondido, California. To fulfill this market need, SportsZone will feature: 32 luxurious bowling lanes; high-tech lighting and sound; a laser tag arena; food and beverage area/snack bar; entertainment arcade; pool tables; boutique meeting/birthday party facilities; and Wii/Xbox lounges. LazerPhaze Entertainment will market promotions to attract a large and diverse clientele, with
activities such as Cosmic bowling and leagues that cater to all age ranges. In addition, LazerPhaze Entertainment will have an upscale sports lounge to draw in an even larger demographic. The Company has identified a 126,000- square-foot building on 10 acres that will be purchased and extensively renovated inside and out. Approximately half of the square footage will be leased out to national retailers, furthering the venue’s draw. LazerPhaze Entertainment will be the first entertainment center of its kind locally and will take advantage of a surge in popularity of bowling. Furthermore, the city of Escondido has plans to build a new baseball park for the San Diego Padre’s AAA team.
The ballpark will be built at a walking distance from the entertainment facility.
