I am the CEO of a company called PublishASAP. We have spent the last 7 years developing a software that analyzes graphics and corrects and outputs them as "pressworthy" to be used in used in books, journals, ads, and magazines. We have tested more than 25,000 graphics with Pearson Higher Education (Upper Saddle River, NJ) and Precision Graphics (Champlaign, IL). Both companies are have agreed to use our technology in their production workflows. We are in the process of incorporating our technology into their internal workflow environments.
Our main investor developed brain cancer several months ago and is critically ill. He will no longer be able to fund our efforts. Our overhead is very minimal ... My salary ($60,000/year) and one developer's salary ($100,000/year) along with the cost of keeping our servers running ($1500/month). Both of the clients we are currently implenting will be generating revenue by the end of the year. We are in the very final stages of launching this business and can easily get contracts from both our clients. There is no other technology in the publishing space that is slightly equal to what we are currently producing. Due to the current state of the economy our current investor is having a hard time liquidating assets or securing bank funding. This is an excellent opportunity for an investor who is looking for a somewhat short-term investment.
