Description:
My current product, InstaSteam, is the world's first electricity-free clothing travel steamer. All you do is open the InstaSteam Pod, fill it with water, insert it into the garment bag, and done! Your clothing will be nicely steamed and deodorized.
I created InstaSteam after having a problem while studying abroad and traveling often. InstaSteam is Utility Patent Pending, is the first product of its kind to come to market, and will be replacing traditional travel steamers. In addition to being the first to market, InstaSteam is electricity-free, eco-friendly, and non-flammable. This means that InstaSteam is allowed aboard Airplanes and Cruise Ships due to its safety. There are multiple different sales channels for this product including cruise lines, airlines, airports, hotels, online retail, wholesale, and subscriptions. InstaSteam, while traveling, replaces the need to use dry cleaning, the shower, irons, and travels steamers.
There is a pretty significant market for this product split between men & women, cruisers, business people, travelers, and people that just like to have fresh looking clothing all the time. A few of the most significant sales channels for InstaSteam are cruise lines, hotels, and airports. InstaSteam is now one of the few products that are actually allowed aboard cruise ships and airplanes that can steam your clothing and gives these companies a new way to monetize. Aside from these few significant sales channels, InstaSteam will also be sold direct to consumer and wholesale.
Although InstaSteam is a relatively newer product and doesn't have any significant sales yet, we have sold all over the U.S., Italy, Australia, and Israel through our website and Amazon. Aside from direct to consumer, InstaSteam will be on HSN within the next couple of months and we are currently speaking to Carnival Cruises and Princess Cruises of which both are very excited to bring InstaSteam onto cruise ships.
InstaSteam's future is bright. Our goal is to reach the $200M mark within the next three years and then after three years determine whether or not to sell the company or to continue growing it. As of right now, we are just looking for that little push to bring InstaSteam to the next level.
