new dawn is a for profit and non profit recreational business. our mission is to provide a fun family oriented facility that caters to the whole community. we want it to be handicapped accessable because we believe that just because something horrible has happened in your life doesnt mean that you should stop living it. it also is for those who cant afford to take off work long enough for a vacation doesnt mean they cant have fun with thier family. it is for those children who can not afford to go to camp or dont belong to an organization that pays for them to go or just cant go that far from home. they can come to us. through the family center we would have programs available such as the adopt a grandparent, read to a child, learn how to healthy cooking, learn how to repair auto, community garden, peer to peer counseling, lend an ear, ect. we also have a store and gift shop that will also help with funding. we are trying to get a loan to purchase the land and fet the business up and running, and purchase the equipment. we have done the research around town to assess the need, demand and intrest. we have located the property and are now looking for funding to purchase the property and hit the ground running.
