Description: Dear Sir/Madam, I came across your website via Google search. I am currently looking for solid venture capital funding so that I can take my company and my ideas to the next level. As we all agree, there is a huge gap between the inceptions of idea to its realistic manifestation. This gap can be effectively maneuvered through intelligent execution. Having said that I would confess right at the beginning that my ideas can never see the light of the day without external support. Honest confessions they say release a lot of stress. I founded Softeality ( (URL removed) ) in September last year with a dream. The dream was to structure a company with a difference. I had ideas but I did not have solid financial backing. At that time I ventured into IT consulting to generate some revenue. I found out that despite knowing the tricks of the game I was unable to make inroads with the corporations out there because I lacked presence in the corporate world. Glamour they say is the name of the game and Softeality lacked every bit of that. I generated some business by myself just to break even. I still think IT consulting (both contract staffing as well as outsourced projects) is a good means of steady income for any organization provided it has the right resource pool of confident managers and promising executives. I would like Softeality to pursue this line of business in an aggressive way. Along with that, I would like to introduce software product development as a major line of business in the company. I have many ideas in this area. The first product that I would like Softeality to introduce is a protective control (parental control) for Internet Security that will prevent users from browsing (or navigating to) blacklisted websites. An administrator can setup the blacklist criteria via a control screen. These settings will be out of reach of ordinary users of that machine. In case of a LAN environment these settings can be set on the server side per user profile. Do such controls exist? Yes they do but they come for a fair enough price. Softeality will offer this as a free download to single users. Yes it will be absolutely free. Softeality’s revenue will come from advertisements that it will display on the top-left corner of any browser. These ads will be local, national as well as third party pay-per-click ads. Users of the control can opt for an ad-free version by paying a price. This will be another means of revenue. The ad-free version can also be marketed in the schools, colleges, educational institutions, government agencies and in the small, medium and large corporations. In this case, the product will have two components namely the server component and the client component that will be installed on each user’s machine. All these can be accomplished by a good team comprising of talented managers, sound administrators and intelligent developers. Being a software professional myself for the last 12+ years, I have laid out an initial design for this product. I have also played around with the core engine of this product and I am sure it will very effectively meet the requirement. This is what I have conceived in a nutshell. I am sure my ideas if effectively put to practice will definitely be a money spinner. All said and done, I look forward to meeting you in person for a more detailed discussion.
