Description: I have a 5,000 square foot, brick commercial building that I am converting into a Barbershop/Salon/Nail Shop. It will also house Makeup Artists and Massage Therapists. Each of these services will have their own rooms. The only room that needs to be built is the Massage Therapy Room. On the other side of the building will be our hair store which I will continue to sell our very own line of PremierCare hair products. I can come up with the money myself, but it'll take maybe 8 months to a year to raise the funding myself. The building was $120,000 and I put $12,000 down and pay $1,200 per month. The building is very nice and consists of 3 bathrooms (one of which I will remove in order to expand the Hair Store) and a fireplace that I will convert into an electric fireplace. This business is highly anticipated in our area and I have several contract workers who are ready to work and pay their both rent once we are open. I will be able to have 22 to 25 workers who will pay weekly booth rent. I will start off charging $50 a week for the first 6 months, then $75 per week for another 6 months and after a year, it will cap off at $100 per week. This will give me approximately $10,000 per week in booth rent. My products will be sold on the other side of the building which has its own entrance. I will make double to 5 times in profits from each sell, depending on the product that is sold. I will not need any more than $25,000 to open my business. $25,000 may be very generous because there's not very much needed unless I use the rest to expand the parking lot. I have duct work that needs to be replaced, but I have the funding for that. I just need to ceramic tile the entire building, add some walls in some areas and knock down some walls in other areas. A little electrical work in the new Massage Therapy area and adding LED recess lighting throughout. Once opened, the booth rent will more than cover my expenses. I work for the State Government, so it will not be any problem paying back my loan. My divorce from a few years ago has made it difficult for me to obtain a loan the conventional way, however; I have been building my business credit. I have some Net-30 Accounts, Fleet Gas Card and I will be applying for a CitiBusiness Card in a couple months...... I hope to get some help for this highly anticipated venture. Thanks!
