My name is Anthony Calori. I am an honest person looking for an honest business opportunity.
Since 2008 I have been involved in the music industry here in the Bay Area. A friend and I started a company
named, U.S.M., "Universal Sound Movement" in the same year. I handled the business side and he handled the music side.
Hip-Hop is what we specialized in. Though very low-budgeted, I was successful with booking staff, venues, headliners,
reaching ticket sale goals, marketing, and advertising taking advantage of today's social media. U.S.M focused on getting our
artists heard as well as booking/promoting live entertainment events. We did both Though we were moving forward at a
fast rate for 2 years, my friend and I had came across disagreements making failure inevitable. For the sake
of our friendship I left U.S.M., leaving the business and money to him, and giving me a chance to plan and think about
what I wanted to do. He eventually left the company as well.
Cloud Bound Records is the name of the what I would like to start. (Also have a logo ready)
A no gimmick, professional record label/promotion business promoting live concerts and giving people music
they love, worldwide. I have the skills, knowledge, network, and resources to make everything happen. As well as a
mixed-media specialist team, which is important now more than ever, for marketing and advertising. What I want most for
this business is to be respected, to be taken seriously, and to profit from our work.
The investment amount I am looking for is $25k to $100k. The amount invested will set the tone on
how fast things will get moving but with either $25k or $100k, things will still get done the same.
The amount difference is weighed by venue size, headlining artist(s), staff/security, etc...
