Description: Stark Armor is a company that intends to design, patent, and market Flexible Body Armor (FBA), vehicle/vessel and aircraft armor (VVA), and structural armor (StA). Two Provisional Patents are initially incorporated. The company’s goal is for a projected $50 million in sales in year three to achieve $75 million in revenue by year five. Located in Space Coast of Florida Stark Armor is a start-up R&D / manufacturing firm. With a private investment loan of its own capital, Stark Armor hopes to make a successful effort to begin operations by July 30, 2010. Stark Armor intends to conduct operations at its Space Coast location to meet an increasing demand for high impact, bullet proof armor addressing local, sate and military requirements for FBA, VVA and StA. The company's initial product offering will target Flexible Body Armor meeting Law Enforcement, National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Compliance with Level III and IIIA and Military Specifications (MIL Spec). The US Department of Defense uses two classes of protection from armor piercing rifle bullets, the Small Arms Protective Insert (SAPI) and the Enhanced SAPI (ESAPI) specification, which are equivalent to the NIJ Level III and above. Market penetration for the first full year of operations, 2011, should begin at $7.2 million but could expand to nearly $50 million as soon as approvals are obtained for new, higher protection level body armor. The company becomes mature in year three, and is potentially profitable in year one if a proposed flexible body armor contracts and individual sales can be reached.
