Description: Both my parents are Military Veterans and I want to develop a Mobile App that will help soldiers and their families keep in touch. The app has interesting features that make communication more personable and will cut down on the carbon footprint required to send and receive physical letters. Sometimes physical letters do not make it to and from a soldier because of circumstances out of their control. I want to change that. In 2010 the US Military population (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, Nat. Guard, & Air National Guard) totaled 2,266,883. The market is great and my intentions are very pure because I have first-hand experience within a military family. If I had an app like the one I want to create, I know that my family could have stayed in touch in a more personable way when I was growing up basically without parents due to deployment. I want a percentage of revenue to be donated to a military non-profit such as the Wounded Warrior Project. If there are any veteran investors out there that are interested in my project, I want you! About me: 31. Single. 2 Degrees. 10 yrs Project Management Experience. I'm a very hard worker and currently came home from 10 yrs in music industry in Nashville, to take care of my dad after surgery. (He is a DAV, and gonna be just fine.) I have a degree in Art Education and a detailed eye for design. I worked at tech company, Griffin Technology, in materials certifications, and got a little bit of a bug for tech entrepreneurship. My M.A. is in Radio/TV/Film- Media Studies, where I studied social and psychological theories of subcultures. I'm prepared to be the spoke-person for the app on youtube, to visit local spots in Ft.
