River Maverick Publishing is a new start-up company which will publish quality fiction and non-fiction books which have the capacity to be translated into film, stage, and television series only. It is the intend to publish 6-10 books per year in order to capitalize fully on marketing efforts which is woefully mishandled by large publishing houses. Having worked in entertainment as an actor, and now in business/legal affairs for a tv network and 2 well-known film studios - I have the knowledge and contacts to get from "best-seller" to "Thank you members of the Academy". I need seed funding to release my first book. I have four other authors with great potential for film and television.
