Description: Alternative Fuel Solutions, LLC (AFS) AFS is a green energy company dedicated to developing sustainable, long-term fuel solutions by producing Process Engineered Fuel (PEF) pellets, called BTU Boost™. BTU Boost is manufactured by first collecting and testing manufacturing byproduct for quality assurance then rerouting it directly from the manufacturer into AFS’ facility, bypassing landfills altogether. Upon arrival to the AFS facility the byproduct is converted into PEF with BTU value ranges between 11,000~18,000/lb. BTU Boost can be burned as a stand-alone or co-fired to increase energy output, and reduce toxic emissions & GHG. Because PEF is a sustainable energy source it is desired by energy producers who are awaiting a mass market product. Since 2009, AFS’ principals have invested significant time and capital in the research & development of BTU Boost. It has conducted significant testing in the areas of process verification, and fuel design & composition. The result is a superior PEF that produces higher heating values and lower toxic emissions than both traditional and alternative fuels. AFS has developed key strategic partnerships and received purchase interest from Virginia Power as well as other small- to medium-sized energy producers. It is in the final stage of EPA approval for BTU Boost to be formally identified as a non-hazardous, non-waste fuel. AFS expects EPA approval shortly. Upon funding, AFS intends to seal the feedstock chain through supply agreements to prevent competitors from entering its target markets. Production AFS’ proof-of-concept (POC) facility will produce ~32,000 tons/year (100 tons/day, 6 days/wk) and will initially serve Georgia, the Carolinas, Virginia and its export initiatives. The purpose of this first facility is to create a turn-key standard operating procedure (SOP) that can be repurposed for additional sites as market awareness increases. Additionally, facility one will allow AFS to develop its intellectual property (IP). Please respond and supply us your email so we can send you an Executive Summary with Projections. Thank you
