I am currently 5 months pregnant and came up with this idea, I just need the funding but I am confident that it will be big maybe even a franchise someday! I have worked in the beauty/healthcare industry for 6 years now, and know what woman need... but we need it MOST when we're pregnant, so the salon would cater to pregnant woman i.e. prenatal massage, pedicures, manicures etc.. but also a pregnant woman's feet get really sore, so maybe a quick 30 minute foot rub (you can't usually find that at a salon).. waxing since it's hard to reach bikini area.. and let's say your a shaver and need help with that... then maybe one night a week a yoga instructer comes in for prenatal yoga or lamaze classes... the list goes on.... everyone would be employed as independant contracters. Referals will be a big marketing facter... this is a military town so it would be big here for sure! I have been tossing the idea aroudn amongst people I know, and everyone loves it...
