During the months of May through October, avid "Turtlers" gather to watch the mating process of different types of turtles all over Florida. Being a quiet, remote Isle 3.5 miles of the coast of Carrabelle, FL, we are in the prime location to provide quality accommodations to those who enjoy such beautiful acts of nature's wildlife.
During the winter months, birds do fly south for the winter, as do droves of Bird Lovers who come in from all over the world to "bird watch". On Dog Island, since the Pelican Inn is the only Bed & Breakfast here, we can appease these wildlife observers, offering a peaceful, serene environment to do what they love.
