Description:
B.N.E. started at a local Atlanta Gentlemen's club who was in need of someone to takeover their kitchen to remain in compliance with the city's club and licensing agreement. We were contacted and immediately took over. It was a brand new start for us and it was ground zero. The club had a terrible history with past kitchen staff so we had to provide a service that was completely unknown to them. After a few weeks we started to notice that the orders began to increase and a heavier volume of traffic was coming directly to the kitchen window to order. After a week of spending 100$ or more on supplies and groceries making bare minimum, the second week was our break through! We always stayed for 2 shifts 16hr days. Monday through Friday 12pm-3am and Saturdays 4pm-3am. This was a major sacrifice for us as married couple with 4 children trying to buold our business but we made it happen. Many sleepless nights, no family time and no personal space. We gave up those things to get where we are today. In a short time we were able to pull in 1000+ on business slow nights. The busy nights we did 1500 or more Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We were able to see profit even after our rent, travel and inventory expenses. Unfortunately we had more success than they expected offered us a deal that we refused due yo it was not legal and the establishment had no investment in any of our inventory. We provided all thats needed abd pay the agreed upon weekly rent. Management was not happy with our no so we parted ways. After about 3 weeks of being out of business we received an offer from the owner of the club we parted with and he wanted to know what happened he heard of our great success. After a discussion we were offered the kitchen at his other club. We are currently still in business with this establishment and have been since April of this year. We have not had the same success due to the type of crowd and the multitudes of other food choices in the immediate area. We have once again provided that service they are foreign to in this particular industry. This new establishment had no one eating pick up or deliveres to the front door. Since June we have changed that. Food deliveries are down 93%. The staff as well as the customer's come in to not just drink but eat as well. We have taken customers from local spots who cook the same type foods they now come order from us. The advertising by word of mouth is traveling fast. We are in need of capital to keep up with our inventory because this club has different hours, customer base and food choice. I want to provide the absolute best menu and expand my service to deliver yo tjose who cannot pick up due it being a gentleman's club. The owner is so impressed with what we have done by having people eat in his place of business which helps tge establishment make more money because customers will buy more alcohol knowing they can eat as well so their stays are longer which also helps the entertainers make more and myself. Business is slow due to lack of funds from a slow start the owner has given us free rent unt we are able to make a profit off of what we have put out capital wise since we started in April. We are not able to recover because of how much was needed at the start. This place is about maybe 400 a month because we dont have the funds to compete with surrounding business. Our menu is perfect but we need to add things such as steaks seafoods to name a few. Most customers ask if we have steak and we cannot produce there is longhorns next door they dont care for but they want steak so I lose that business to them. I can provide proof of this info in writing from both places. I have customer feed back forms and a reference from the owner himself as well as his staff. My goal in the end is to obtain my own restaurant/ bar if it is possible for me to do so. These experiences are my stepping stones towards my goal. Build my name and clientele now so when I am in my own establishment those ppl will follow me and I will have a regular customer base already going into the situation. Please contact me for more info and more details on my previous business arrangement and the current one.
