Description: The project “Rock cutting mining machine”. Resume At present there’s an elaborated and estimated idea, which hasn’t been implemented yet. It consists in construction of a mining machine designed to cut out stone blocks. The production cost of such a block will be about 15-20$ for a cubic meter which is 5 times less than the price of a concrete block. Accordingly, the cost of low/middle-rise buildings will become 2-3 times less. The building cost of other large constructions (e.g. tunnels, subways, harbours, dams etc) will be drastically reduced too. So in 15-20 years such significant cost deference may eventually make major part of building sector switch to this way of building materials production. Consequently, this machine may find a very quick sale (up to thousand units).
