Description: We provide behavior management, facility habilitation and community habilitation for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as other developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injury. The funding for these services comes, primarily, from the Indiana Medicaid Waiver Program which has been fairly stable over the last approximately 20 years. We have had one year 2013 where we added 4 services (essentially 4 brand new businesses) and were not profitable for that year. However, we have grown exponentially since then and are projected to do $4,000,000. in sales for 2015. Our huge growth has been entirely the result of word of mouth. We provide THE highest quality services in this area and that secret has gotten out. We currently serve most of northern Indiana (from the Illinois line to the Warsaw area. Without fail, each time we start working in a new county, district or even neighborhood the word gets out quickly and we receive an influx of referrals. In order to keep up with this growth we need to upgrade our infrastructure and add a 3rd office building which is, in part, how the capital infusion would be used. The rest of the capital we are able to generate will be used to pay off debt that was created during our first year of expansion (2013). This is a very good opportunity to get on board a business that is already being run by seasoned veterans in the field. Each member of my management team has been chosen because of the work I have PERSONALLY seen them do while I was working as a consultant and they were with other companies. Further, our business model is not top heavy when it comes to management. Our direct care instructors are professionals and do not require micromanagement. For this reason our overhead is very low. Out of the 100 or so employees: 7 are managerial, 10 are clinical (therapists) with the remainder working as direct care instructors.
