I am a central Illinois farmer living in the Mclean Il area. I grew up on the farm and have farmed all my life. Currently my brother and I are farming the family farm, 120 acres of cash rent ground, and custom farming on the side to generate more income. We will plant and harvest 1300 acres of corn and soybeans on the family farm/ cash rent ground. Then custom plant and custom harvest another 3000 acres on top of that. Both of us would like to add more acres to the family farm but can't cash flow the buying of additional acres at this time. We are looking for an investor to buy local farm land that would come up for sale and then let us cash rent or crop share the land from them.
