Amanda's Way is a faith based non-profit organization serving the needs of victims of domestic and sexual abuse in Tipton County, TN. As of today, there are an estimated 20,000 unreported abuse cases in Tipton county due largely to the fact that resources are extremely limited here and there is only one other organization in west TN serving these victims. Northwest Safeline, the other domestic violence organization, services 6 counties in west TN with no representation in Tipton county. I have been a board member of NWSL for more than a year and have seen no progress in my home county. It is my goal to partner with NWSL and facilitate awareness in Tipton County of their services and assist victims here with escaping their abuser, helping them gain the legal assistance needed, and ensuring a safe environment for victims and their families.
