The company is an Electrical Engineering Services Contractor, and duly licensed by the Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK) and National Construction Authority (NCA) for the following works: - NCA4 Electronic; Electronic-Telecommunications PABX, intercoms and telephone wiring; Electronic-Electronic communications (public address systems and conferences systems; Electronic-Structured Cabling and computer networking Installation; Electronic-Security Surveillance Systems (CCTV) intruder Alarm and access control systems.
NCA4 means I can participate in tenders of up to a limit of Kshs.100 Million (approximately USD One Million). Upgrade to NCA1, which has no limit can be done within one year.
I have been running the company since registration in December 2010 and have undertaken a number of installations to date. I am also able to buy directly from some manufacurers, therefore making us competitive. Examples of such manufacturers include Y3K U.K., Vivotek and ACTi for CCTV equipment and MPMC China for diesel generators. Other equipment and materials are available locally and from appointed distributors at competitive prices. For technical services, I outsource from people I know, and most are ex-colleagues and therefore very friendly rates.
To date, I have SINGLE HANDEDLY been able to secure projects amounting to slightly over USD 500,000 from two referrals and two government tenders alone!
