Description:
VEDIC farming - farming techniques adopting old Indian Vedic solutions....
After a successful corporate career of 21 years, in 1998 I decided to venture into Sports Management sector and successfully established a company ‘SPT Sports’ focusing on golf and football. The company is still active and profitable. On attaining superannuation, I followed my long cherished dream of entering the "ORGANIC" farming segment.
In 2012, I purchased a 15-acre land parcel and from 2014 worked on the development of the property through "VEDIC' farming - an age old farming technology which our ancestors used successfully in the pre-historic (vedic) era.
This method of farming uses all the ancient wisdom, where vedic 'mantras' are recited to invoke the five elements and in addition, the Indian cow plays a very important role along with other live forms of bees, poultry, earthworms, fish, etc. No chemicals are ever needed to be used in the farm. Vedic farming is an advance version of organic farming which has been very successful in growing very high quality produce. The biggest advantage of this method is that if done correctly, the chances of pests and diseases tend to keep away reducing the usage of remedies to cure them, hence increasing margins. In addition, the soil also keeps improving year on year, thus giving better yield.

Our balance sheet may not be very heavy currently but profitable, and with the growing demand of our produce, we wish to scale our operations and make them more equipment based for better yield.
Now we plan to introduce machinery like bigger tractors, harrows, ploughs, seeders, pumps, drip irrigation, green house, etc. to improve land usage and productivity.
Our fund requirement is between USD 100,000 to 200,000 against a equity in the company.
