Description: A small 650-800 square foot space. A venue in which we would have the space for up and coming designers hold a trunk shows. There would be a launch party of their first line, then we would showcase their work from one week to a month depending on their budget. The space would be converted into what ever the designer desired. If they wanted to repaint it we would tack on how much it would be to repaint the space back white to their price. If they wanted to hang up photography or other artwork for embellishment they would be free to do so, or they could work with what we have available. If they don't have mannequins, they can rent ours for a small one time cost no matter how long they are planning to show their clothes for. It would also be a place for networking. We would provide important contacts such as buyers or local boutique owners who may be interested in taking on a new line. Even if they were not interested at the time it would still be good for them to give honest opinions and advice to these new designers. We would reach out to not only graduates but to students in their senior or junior year at local art schools such as Fashion Institute of Technology, Parsons School of Design, The New School, Tisch, etc. It would be a place to network and hopefully off start their careers. The basic idea is to have a venue that is like an art gallery, but shows clothing.
