Text Them In, Inc. has developed a Pantent Pending method of reporting aggressive and dangerous drivers. Through the use of SMS (text messaging) drivers will have a method of non-violent reponse to acts of aggressive driving.
By simply sending a text message to 839846 (TEXTIN) containing Tag#, State and details, drivers will be able to report aggressive drivers. This information is then made available to Motor Vehicle Administrators, Insurance Companies and Law enforcement.
The program also allows for mothers of teenage drivers, fleet operators and others to receive a message, by text message or email, when their vehicles are reported.
The company plans a BETA test on July 15th in the mid-atlantic area and compete a national roll-out by December 2009.
