To provide a series of community-based rural health education and screening concerts to low-income individuals specifically African-Americans residing in economically depressed rural communities in Northern California (principally Alameda County). The purpose of this assistance is to promote rural community healthy living standards by enabling low-income individuals specifically African-Americans, who are chronically ill and/or healthy; to engage in health education, prevention and maintenance targeting African American health disparities.
