Description:
Fate Productions is producing the new feature film The Anniversary. Written By Alison Monda, Produced By Erin Neal, and Directed By: Collin Joseph Neal.
Description
On the anniversary weekend of the death of a young women's husband, five girls head out to a cabin to help their friend move past her husband's death. As the party continues one of the girls dark gated secrets begins to unravel and a hideous past crawls out from the woods to seek wrongfully deserved revenge on the group. The Anniversary is set in the 80’s with a female driven cast. The film is being shot in July and August shooting on The Red One. The film stars Seattle names like Scott C. Brown (Journey Quest, The Gamers Dorkness Rising) Samara Lerman (JourneyQuest, Wranglers) Alison Monda ((URL removed) clip show host, Shadowed, Reunion, JourneyQuest2 ), Gail Harvey (The Off Hours), Tabitha Bastien (Pheonix Run, The Resolution), Ivey Bronwen (The Sisterhood of Death, Shadowed), Keiko Green (Private Eyes) Ronee Collins (Leverage) etc.
The story line is racy, funny, exciting, unique and suspenseful. Film industry professionals say it is, “Bridesmaids vs. The Descent or Cabin Fever.” As writer/executive producer and actress in this film, I believe in this film because everyone who has read it couldn’t put it down and on top of that, has joined our crew. The film is completely unpredictable. For instance, the first scene opens with a girl at a restaurant. She is served a plate of steaming meat. She takes one bite, then reaches into her purse and slides out a gun and puts it to her head to shoot herself. You don’t find out why she did this, or if it REALLY happened until the end of the film. Every scene keeps you guessing.
This film will also open up over 25-30 jobs this summer for other filmmakers. If you believe in putting back into the film community this is the project to back! As a film and crew my producers and I are promoting every backers projects, I have even worked on 2 other sets already of backers to give back.
This film WILL NOT be made unless we reach our goal by mid May. We need to be able to reach $30,000 or more as a minimum to make our film. What does the money go towards? We have listed our full budget on our kickstarter page to show where every penny goes. As a team we are putting as much of our own money in this as we can, but we can only get so far if we want to be able to pay everyone and create jobs for people as well as make a fantastic film.
Please when you get the opportunity can you check out our kickstarter (URL removed) for interviews about the film and how you can be involved/invest or get your name in the credits.
Thank you for your consideration
