a big pharmaceutical company has abandoned Infectious Disease area; Department of Infectious diseases was eliminated. I was leading a Hepatitis C small molecule drug discovery at the department. At the time of disbandent my lab had identified a set of potential drug candidates, about about two dozens of which look superior to all other companies' new drugs in development.
