- ok so first, you buy that music DL'ing website and get it running, then after we get some sort of publicity, we will go around to underground band concerts and find some that sound like they could go professional. then after we do that we talk to them and if they are interested, we tell them that if they sign a contract turning over a certain percentage of the profits that they would make in the future to use, no only would we put their music free on our site, but we would also take them to a record studio to lay do a few tracks that we and they agree are there best. then after we have the contracts signed and the recording done, we put put them on the site as an available free dowload that will come whenever a purchase is made for a band's music that they are close in sound to. (EX: we find a band called "X" and they sound like the band Coheed and Cambria once we put them on our site, we link one of there songs with all of the coheed and cambria CD's and then it would automatically download for free once they download the Coheed CD) after they are downloaded if the customer wants to, he/she can go back to the site and then buy that artists album. and here is where it gets really good...
once we have the artists music well recorded and a contract stating that we own a certain percentage of all of the money that they make, we "sell" them to a record label that is interested in them. from that point on they deal with the record label and all that stuff on their own, and we just make money based on how much their music sells for the rest of the time that its on the market.-----------------------------
