Description:
Keiki Kokua means "Help the Children" in Hawaiian. We are a small nonprofit based on Maui. Our mission is to provide practical and social support to foster, adoptive, legal guardianship, and kinship care children and youth, and the families who raise them, including a large number of grandparents raising grandchildren. We are starting a Foster Parent Exchange and Thrift Store, which will offer needed items to our families at substantial savings, while also providing Keiki Kokua with an income stream to run our programs. We need start-up funds to make the thrift store a reality. During these tough economic times, we believe a thrift store will be a great asset to our community.
