Description: A medical practice staffed by myself, a board certified internist with over 25 years experience. After a 2 year hiatus, I have decided to return back to private practice because of a unique opportunity to grow a profitable practice with a low overhead, and high rate of success. With the closing of the pain clinics mandated by the state, and talked about in the national media, the Boca Raton area where I intend to practice, is in the heart of the prescription drug abuse capital of this country. As these clinics close and patients need to detox from the narcotics, my practice will be geared towards a fairly prompt program that will enable people to remain pain free, and not reliant on drugs of abuse as per the accepted protocols of the DEA and a variety of other counseling agencies. The practice requires little in the way of equipment. I will be dispensing the prescribed medications. I hope to work on a cash basis, giving the patients a signed receipt that they can then forward to their insurance carrier for reimbursement. To give you an idea of some senarios, in the first year 1 can treat 30 patients at a time, which means cycling approx. 60 patients thru the office each month. This should gross in excess of $350,000.00/year at approx. 80% occupancy. In the second year, doing basically the same type of medicine, this aspect of the practice can have it's numbers triple if we promote the business correctly. In addition to the detox aspect of the practice, I intend to include my internal medicine, aesthetic medicine, and have the opportunity to offer even more services should they present themselves. Ultimately, the goal is to continue multiple out patient detox centers, utilizing trained physicians, and developing an in patient residential center which is extemely lucrative and requires very little. As you can see, there is room for tremendous development in a short span of time. Thank you for considering my request.
