Description:
We are developing an Internet Social Media Website and Marketing site based around the concept of live broadcasting of videos and events - first from users/members and secondarily from business such as restaurants, clubs, social groups, families.
The site has two initial elements that may seem to be dissimiliar but are in fact drivers of each seperate element such that both function and grow based on each others growth.
The element of live video posts and information by users, their friends and other members is the initial driving hook of interest for building users of the site and adding new users by virtue of the live video streams.
The business marketing side of the site allows for monitization of the database of users for us via a powerful marketing tool for businesses. The marketing campaigns drive more site users, the greater number of site users provides more potential data for us to provide and hence more customers for businesses to market too. We add the element of providing exceptional filtering options for business so that as the business exectutes it own marketing campaigns and our respective database expands they can be begin to more speficially filter who the campaign reaches to a level not currently used in mobile marketing.
Here's an overview:
Users create an account initially with limited information but quickly are prompted to provide more specific information as they use/follow the site. The data about users is compiled and filtered as users provide more data via periodic questions/updates from our site as well as a variety of sources such as FB posts, when they "check-in" and "tag" themselves at various sites and as well as ultimately being filtered geographically and by frequency of use at various targeted campaign locations. This information helps to create a depth of profile of users that businesses and their respective marketing entities are eager to have and they can use to define marketing offers and promotions to very a very specific group of qualified potential users; for example a promotional offer could be sent via our mobile marketing app to a group of users who are: within the age range of 21-27, male or female, married or single, have checked into a bar or club two (2) or more times withing the prior 7 days AND are currently registered AND/OR physically located within a radious of 10 miles at the time of executing the marketing campaign at 8:00 pm on a Friday evening. The campaign can be controlled/executed via the web by the business when desired so it allows an extremely powerful marketing/advertising tool for business to drive traffic at specific and needed times.
In turn the business users become the principal drivers of advertising and promotional products that help to build and expand the user database which of course is benificial to us. This happens organically as business use the site to perform more targeted mobile marketing campaigns to both current and and filtered potential customers. The promotional offers are free to us and the businesses do not have to surrender 75% of the value of the offer to similar marketing concepts like Groupon which makes the service an easy automatic sale.
The user growth happens organically as business perform campaigns and add users to their database and continues as these new users "like" our site and visit/register for inclusion into the marketing/promotional campaigns.
The additional social media aspect of the site allows members to post thier own live streaming video from mobile devices to the social media site either as a public view or restricted (password) view for those friends in their network or public users. Members and business users can search (drill down) on currently streaming videos with various search parameters including geographical location, subject matter, interersts, musical genre, business type or most popular or most viewers. Users can determine what's going on and where they'd like to go and business can in turn use these videos to post live banner ad's/promotions instantly from a web-based marketing platform.
The site will for example; allow an individual in the Middle East to stream live from their smartphone the video of a demonstration or protest tens of thousands of miles away. In the same fashion a local bar/grill having a Mardi-Gras party could stream video from their web-cam as a way of gaining interest for customers in the area to come in and join the party.
