I've always had a passion for everything made from nature, and use what it gives us to our advantage, specially the fashion industry. I always believed many seek elegance beauty in resources humans have deplenished making them more expensive, and most of the time unaffordable for the majority of the population. I am a strong believer in the creative mind and the fact that nature never stops creating, and those minds are in constant search for that particular material, ingredient, to make a difference.
In my search, I met Marzio Fiorini, a brazilian designer who spent 11 years inventing a durable, flexible material out of recycable rubber to make the most amazing pieces of jewelry. Jewelry collections so colorful, durable, affordable, inexpensive, exotic and definitevely different.
I tried the product by taking it to an accessory show in New York and the welcoming was unexpected, I received more than 30 orders to ship, professionals and savvy fashionistas were amazed by our displays and everybody stopped, inquired and left their information for us to contact them after the show. The most amazing thing of it all, it that I was approached by representatives from chain stores in other countries, wanting to meet with me after the show and propose a plan to supply them with considerable amounts of merchandise for their stores.
I realized the opportunities were limitless, but not only that, I could do this with other creative minds, other amazing individuals that have found a piece of what creation has given us, to make an amazing product and better the world. That's when I decided Marzio Fiorini was only the beggining to my dream. But I needed to start by taking the first step.
