Description:
Kopenton LLC is the parent company for 2 publications, a weekly local newpaper celebrating 35+ years and a magazine - Up North, the Magazine of Northern New England. We have been described and the "New" Yankee magazine and the New Downeast Magazine of New England. The way Downeast use to be! Although the magazine began in 2005, I took over as the managing partner in 2008 rebuilding the magazine from the ground up and doubling the circulation in less than a year! Kopenton LLC has a created a plan to launch this magazine with the help of a Marketing Group to bring this magazine to northern New England and compete with the likes of Yankee, (URL removed) and of course Downeasts. We have just acquired a 4th distributor to distribute our magazine to all of the major supermarkets New York to Maine! The time is right for Up North Magazine!
