My name is Adrienne Hicks future owner of, B. Divine Plus-Size Bridal & Formal. I am located in the Dallas-Fortworth, Texas area. I have an idea to tap into the bridal market in a way that has not been explored to its potential. I would like to open a Bridal Formal, and Prom store for the Plus-Size woman. The Four major apparel chains that cater exclusively to plus-size women, do not carry plus-size formal attire. My target market is between the ages of 18-40, middle to upper middle class women. I would like to carry designer gowns in my store that women can try on and purchase or online. The Plus-Size market is huge and only four major retail stores cater to the plus size woman. Out of all of them none of them have tapped the market of Bridal, Prom or Formal Plus-Size market.
