Professional basketball has never been hotter than it is right now. The Norfolk Sharks espouse the American Basketball Association’s (ABA) philosophy of promoting community-based, fun and affordable professional basketball with a mixed blend of quality entertainment that’s unparalleled in today’s professional sports. We are dedicated to fair play, good sportsmanship, and integrity both on and off the court. We are committed to making a positive impact in the Hampton Roads area as we seek partnerships with non-profit and community-based organizations to help our families, neighbors, and children in need. As such, our goal is to assist the communities and the schools attain success.
It is the purpose of each individual member of the Norfolk Sharks to promote and uphold team standards for all those we encounter, develop good sportsmanship by example, and to support good relations in the community and between teams during all games. The Norfolk Shark’s organizational goal is to work in harmony with all team management, teammates, as well as other athletic or sporting organizations that we may come upon.
Mission Statement:
The Norfolk Shark Basketball Organization has a mission to help build young men into great leaders in the community by installing the will and drive for excellence on and off the court. The Norfolk Shark Basketball Organization wants to become a permanent fixture in the communities of all of Hampton Road areas. Basketball is a privilege, a service to our communities, an honor, and our main priority. Forming a strong and positive connection with the children in our communities will prove to be the necessary component to continue having professional league basketball in the Hampton Road areas
