My name is Adam B. Stevens. I have worked in the construction industry for over seven years. Throughout thre course of the last two of those seven I have work with only commercial projects. In 2007-2008, I was employed with a +/- $25M Company in New Orleans, La..I moved from there to help grow and develop a "Start-Up" Company in Madisonville, La. I am currently with the "Start-Up" Company with $850k in bonded contracts. My relationship with the bonding company has been the key ingredient to obtaining our current contracts. I recently held a meeting with the bonding company to discuss the idea of forming a construction company and moving forward with them and our relationship. they are exited and they are looking forward to a long and healthy future. In order to get "Bonded", the bonding company needs to see working capital of $100-$125k. This can be in the form of cash or a line of credit. We will need approximately $40k of that capital for actual working needs until we begin to recieve payments from contracts in place. there are more points to consider but, I think that I have covered the most important deciding factors.
