I developed and patented a pet carrier for our cat, Liam, after he broke his leg.
He's a large cat, and we were unable to put him into any carrier that was available on the market at the time. Putting him into and taking him out of the carrier was dangerous for him, and for us.
As he's had many veterinarian visits as a result of his injury.I found a way to incorporate safe and easy viewing from the carrier. He is now much less anxious and his motion sickness has lessened considerably..
We've visited several veterinarians for his care, and that of our other fur babies. Our home-made model has generated great interest and excitement. I have an offer to develop a salable model, and am looking for a person who would be excited to back my invention.
Creating a business that will be owned by a female, disabled veteran is a goal that, I believe, would provide pets and pet owners with a (URL removed)duct that would improve their lives.
