Description:
Our company was founded this past April, between Producer/ Actor, Aaron Weisinger, and Producer, Jeff Gibbs. We initially wanted to start small, but we immediately were given the opportunity to produce the feature film, TRANSIENT. The film is a love story, of which the main character has multiple personality disorder. Amidst the landscape of his mind, however, his love and focus remains true to one woman.
We quickly saw the growth potential that TRANSIENT could do for our little production company. We now have a small team, including Aaron and Jeff, Chris Thompson of AMFM Studios, Barbara Gray (formerly of Boulevard Talent, and Barbara Gray Talent), Toni Cobb Brock Casting, Jimmy Willden (singer/songwriter, writer/director), and others. We have shot the footage for our promotional/fundraising trailer, and it couldn't have been more amazing. We are in a process of revisioning for the feature script, and editing the various promotional pieces together.
We are teaming our company up with Capitol Eye Entertainment, based out of Los Angelas, and Spencer Productions, based out of San Antonio, to help us in the production process. Our top funding goal has been set at $1 Mil. It is at the nominal amount that we can continue to receive lower budget tax breaks, and achieve our investment milestones; whereas larger budgets start to run into trouble.
An IndieGoGO site, as well as a Facebook fan page has been created. Please stop there first, as we have many production stills, behind the scenes photos, links to other marketing sites, and a continual update of edited footage.
I want to thank you personally for your interest in Open Door Films, and The TRANSIENT project. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions regarding investment, business plan/goals, and budgeting. Our team will have the answers you seek.
Sincerely,
Aaron Weisinger
