Description: Peaceful Greens is the ONLY Vegan, Vegetarian, Organic Meat restaurant in Lafayette and West Lafayette, IN with an amazing location. Everyone can eat in one place serving the Vegans, Vegetarians, and the meat eaters, under one roof, with no cross contamination. Residents are aware of this restaurant and waiting for the doors to open. We did some vending at several events last summer to get the word out and they went extremely well! We have already done over half of the work in the restaurant, and are still in need of some cosmetic work, tables and chairs, and some minor kitchen equipment. We are estimating approximately $30,000 needed to open the doors. This restaurant has 2 amazing things going for it, a prime location and a desperate need. The restaurant is located right on Main Street in the heart of downtown, which is rapidly flourishing, and is within walking distance of Purdue University. We are located across the street from a brand new upscale condo/ mini mall that has 2 new bars and a fitness club with great clientele and residents. We have a wonderful diverse culture with Purdue and several vegetarian cultures that are starving. Purdue University now houses almost 40,000 alone and the restaurant is right over a walking bridge for great access to this crowd. This restaurant will serve a full vegan and vegetarian menu, using all organic produce from local Indiana farmers. We will also have a 3-way liquor license serving organic beer, wine and liquor. We will have a fresh fruit smoothie bar and a liquid vitamin bar. We will offer boxed lunch to go and possibly even delivery. We will also be serving a late night breakfast on Friday and Saturday nights, offering something that we don't currently have in Lafayette. We will have bluegrass brunch on Saturdays or Sundays, highlighting local musicians. There are 6 bars within 1 block of our location to feed late night, and another 6 bars within 6 blocks of the location of the restaurant. Our downtown area is booming and expected to continue to grow over the next 10 years. I also own a Yoga & Wellness Spa, of 6 years, in our downtown area, and have a vegetarian crowd already built and waiting patiently for the doors to open. I also have over 15 years in the restaurant world and am knowledgeable in this type of nutrition. This type of restaurant is definitely in need in our area, and with the amazing location targeting Lafayette, West Lafayette, and Purdue University, it will succeed if given the opportunity.
