Description: AA World Recycling, Inc’s major focus is electronic waste. Our goal is to stop electronic waste from being placed into the environment. Our company reprocesses, breaks down, and resells the material back into a viable product for use in various forms. These recyclable materials would include but are not limited to glass, plastics, ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Our initial target market was the school systems in the Southeastern United States. The target market has increased in scope to include hospitals and medical facilities, city and state governments, and some federal facilities. This industry originated in the concept of salvage yards and the ecological need in the United States to find alternative methods for disposing of electronic waste materials. As volume grew so did the needs of proper disposal that would be compliant with international and national environmental laws and guidelines. Clearly, this is an enormous growth industry as the technological advances of our culture create more electronic waste. This electronic waste is almost 100% recyclable. Based on the last study by the EPA in the United States in 2006, only 11.9% of all electronic waste was recycled. According to E-Waste Magazine, the current projection is that only 15% of all electronics are recycled. As of January 2010, all landfills in the United States will be required by federal mandate, to provide alternative means of disposing their recyclable goods. Furthermore, the mandate requires that 70% of all recyclable goods may no longer be buried in the ground. Our company is uniquely positioned to contact all of these facilities with our marketing center, arrange for the placement of trailers at each facility, and the retrieval of these trailers on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis. We have verbal and written agreements with transport trucking services that are currently being set in place at this time. AA World Recycling, Inc. also has verbal and written contracts with multiple buyers at this time to facilitate the resale of the raw products. AA World Recycling, Inc. is an S corporation with six major stockholders. AA World Recycling, Inc. was formed in February 2009 as a new company. The six partners had worked together previously in the electronic recycling business. The six partners offer a variety of skills and talents unique to the needs of the recycling industry. The recycling industry did not provide any type of marketing directly to potential clients and the recycling industry needed to be brought to a more professional level with marketing services. Customer service was rare. Customers are expected to call a recycler, drop off their goods, or be charged by the recycler to pick up the goods. Even after scheduling to have someone retrieves these recyclable products, the customer could not depend on a timely, customer-oriented service. The reason for the initial target market of school systems was that the schools are provided grants and funding to replace their old computers on a yearly basis but are given no funding to dispose of their old equipment. Furthermore, the computer systems were in overall good condition. AA World Recycling, Inc. views its strengths in its ability to market their services to a wide variety of clients and find unique venues for continued growth.
