Description:
Mind Frag is a retail operation that networks PCs in a Local Area Network (LAN) so that group oriented computer games can be played in real time. The LAN uses a typical Ethernet backbone providing high-speed communication and interaction between PCs. The retail operation connects to the Internet via a high-speed T1 connection, thus offering high-speed access to the web. This high-speed connection facilitates interaction between gaming teams at remote locations, making tournament and other competitive play easy.
Gaming centers and Internet cafes are very popular in Europe and Asia and are quickly gaining popularity in the United States. Until recently, team computer games were played at home against other remotely located players. Gaming centers offer a social environment, opening computer gaming to mainstream teens.
Mind Frag will also offer productivity software, multi-media software, e-learning software as well as web-browsing, computer printing, and document scanning services.
Mind Frag will offer concessions including soft drinks and pre-packaged snacks.
