PhotoZen makes great photography simple. We help people perfect their images and promote them through every available publishing channel.
We are creating a premium online marketplace for consumers and professionals who love photography and want to improve the quality of their images. Consumers learn from pros via educational videos, have access to services like professional retouching and pro print labs, and are able to easily share their photos across every major social network. Professionals, in turn, are able to share their knowledge with consumers and significantly increase revenue by marketing themselves and their work to consumers and through commercial channels.
We have raised $165K in initial capital, built an alpha version of our product, signed exclusive contracts with industry-leading partners, and are closing a deal that will provide 6K customers. We are opening the site to the public in 2Q10.
We are seeking up to $1M in funding, which can be allocated in tranches if desired, from all available sources. Funding will be used for operating/growth capital in the areas of payroll, product development, and sales/marketing.
